I must thank you for your prompt, efficient and personable approach to the job. At a time when life was a little overwhelming, you gave me a degree of advice and confidence that I needed. I was never made to feel like a mere number in your list of jobs, and naturally the time that you took to get to know me and assess my needs shines through in the CV that you have produced. I would not hesitate to recommend your service. (Hospitality Manager)

Just thought you'd like to know that I've had several positive comments about my CV and have received a very good job offer this week, which I have accepted. The quality of my CV was cited as one of my main strengths during the selection process. So I couldn't be more pleased. Many thanks for your help. I will certainly recommend you to my network. Very professional. I liked that you gave me an appraisal before ordering, so I was able to see what you thought was wrong. Very satisfied and will come back again and tell me friends about it. As far as my job search is progressing I am happy to say it is over and I found what I was looking for. The CV played a huge role in it I am sure. (Senior Network Engineer)

CV TYPES...

CV Types - Executive CV, Professional CV or Starter CV?

We offer three types of CVs. Each format will be different as the emphasis will vary depending on a person’s experience in the job market.

Starter CV

This style is intended for School leavers, Graduates and Entry-level job seekers (i.e. those with less than two years’ work experience). It will demonstrate both your potential to future employers and what you specifically have to offer. As work experience is limited, the emphasis will be on qualifications and personal qualities. It will focus on identifying skills, experience, achievements, career aims and job targets.

Professional CV

This style is aimed at those with established careers but in non-managerial positions. It will demonstrate career experience, accomplishments, achievements and problem-solving ability. The emphasis will be on highlighting your abilities and strengths. It will focus more on actual skills and experience gained, and less on qualifications.

Executive CV

This style is aimed at those in Management or Board level positions. It will demonstrate career experience, key achievements, problem-solving ability, contributions, initiative and leadership. The emphasis will be on career history and skills rather than qualifications. It will focus on experience gained, as this is more important than competencies at this stage in your career.

TYPE OF CV USED

The type of CV provided will be dependent on your career history, experience and circumstances. Typically there are two formats - Chronological or Functional.

Chronological: This CV type highlights work history and is for a candidate who has no major time gaps and fewer employer changes.

Functional: This CV type is for those who are changing career or work direction, those that have significant gaps in their career, or those that are newly entering the job market. It is skills-led type approach focusing on transferable skills, with very little emphasis on career history.
In some cases it will be necessary to use a combination of both.
